Beverly Crews Battle House Fire On Water Street

BEVERLY, MA — Beverly fire crews were able to quickly contain a house fire on Water Street on Wednesday night.

The Beverly Fire Department said there were no injuries in the blaze.

"The main fire was knocked down quickly," Beverly fire said. "There was extension up from the basement area along the exterior wall, which was dug out and extinguished."

Beverly fire said the cause of the flames is under investigation.
