Beverly Education Foundation Awards $12,485 in Grants to Beverly Public Schools

The Beverly Education Foundation announced its Annual Teacher Parent Grant Awards totaling $12,485. The Teacher Parent Grants benefit students, teachers for professional development and various educational programs in the Beverly Public Schools. The foundation supports the wonderfully creative ideas of Beverly educators which enhance teaching and learning in a 21st century global environment. Grant awards support a wide variety of curriculum-based topics and projects that benefit all students. Grants are for the upcoming 2019-2020 school year and were awarded to preschool, elementary, middle and high school teachers for the following initiatives:


Beverly High School

  • AP Art & Peabody Essex Museum Multi Visit Partnership
  • College Application and Essay Writing Seminars
  • Launch & Accomplish Composting Program
  • Power of Words - Project Based Learning with Poetry
  • Robotics - Robot Brain
  • Theater Technology and Design Seminar Series
Beverly Middle School
  • Environmental Response Project
  • Mindfulness Program
Ayers Ryal Side & Centerville Elementary School
  • Integrating Social Studies
Centerville Elementary School
  • Our Students in a Digital World
Cove Elementary School
  • Maker Space Project
  • Service Learning Project
Hannah Elementary School
  • Hooray for Health Program
North Beverly Elementary School
  • Bag Lunch Program (parent grant)
  • Gellin' with Geometry - Family Math Program
  • Novel Engineering Program

The Beverly Education Foundation is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1997 and is celebrating 22 years of supporting public education in Beverly. The foundation supports programmatic initiatives that provide enhanced educational opportunities for all Beverly public school students. Each Spring, grants are awarded to support innovative initiatives and programs in Beverly Public Schools.
