Beverly Education Foundation Awards $20K+ In Grant Funding

The grants support two dozen programs across Beverly Public Schools.

BEVERLY, MA — Two dozen programs across Beverly Public Schools shared in more than $20,000 in grant funding from the Beverly Education Foundation as part of this year's funding program.

The grants were announced at last week's School Committee meeting and were awarded to teachers who oversee initiatives that benefit learning in a 21st-century global environment.

The Beverly Foundation also disbursed $2,672 for Beverly High School's 1-to-1 Learning Initiative for hardship cases and $11,000 from the Teaching and Learning 10-Year Cummings Foundation Grant for:

  • Robotics and Engineering Curriculum
  • Digital Divide Laptop Subsidies for the 1 to 1 Learning Initiative
  • Beverly Middle School
    • Nature’s Classroom

Additional disbursements from the Cummings Foundation 10-Year Grant for this academic year were $16,000 for teacher professional development, elementary school programs and initiatives and Prusa Printers and Culturally Responsive Library at Beverly Middle School.
