Beverly Education Foundation awards grants

The nonprofit Beverly Education Foundation has awarded Annual Teacher/Parent Grants to Beverly Public Schools for the 2016-2017 school year

The Beverly Education Foundation announced its Annual Teacher Parent Grant awards totaling $7,150. The Annual Teacher Parent Grants benefit students and various educational programs in the Beverly Public Schools. The goal is to support programming that has a focus on literacy, art, environmental education, science, music, health and STEAM initiatives. The following grants have been awarded for the 2016-2017 academic school year:

Ayers School - Kestrel Program $1,350
Beverly High School - AP Art Program $800
Beverly High School - Robotics Program $600
Briscoe Middle School - 3D Printer for Robotics Program $1,000
Centerville School - Music Program - Ukeleles $900
Cove School - Owl Book Program $450
Cove School - MA Book Awards $750
Cove School - Vernal Pool Program: Year 2 $800
North Beverly School - Reach for the Stars, Literacy for Struggling Readers $500

Total Grant Funding: $7,150
