Beverly 'Fall Frolic' 5K, Fun Run Set To Benefit Elementary Schools

BEVERLY, MA — Staff, students and families from the five Beverly elementary schools will come together on Sunday for the Fall Frolic at Lynch Park in its 12th year.

The Fun Run will begin at 9 a.m. with the 5K to follow at 9:30.

The event is open to runners, walkers, parents, grandparents, friends, teachers, students and folks pushing strollers. The 5K travels the traditional paved Homecoming route beginning and ending at Lynch Park with the Fun Run following a half-mile course.

The event is to raise funds for academic programs that serve the more than 2,000 elementary school children in Beverly, with a message that encompasses building strong minds and healthy bodies, and fostering unity and a sense of collaboration among the five Beverly elementary schools.

Free parking is available at Lynch Park.

There will be no day-of registration this year at the race. All participants must be registered online by the Sept. 30 deadline here or in person at the Packet Pickup on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the New England Running Company at 43 Enon Street.
