Beverly Fire Crews Battle Berkley Avenue Blaze Friday Morning

BEVERLY, MA — Beverly fire crews spent Friday morning battling a Berkley Avenue blaze that sent one woman to the hospital.

Media reports said the fire broke out around 6:30 a.m. with heavy fire coming from the second floor of the home when crews arrived.

Beverly crews were able to get the blaze under control within a few minutes with one of the two people in the house at the time of the fire taken to the hospital with burns.
