Beverly Harborfest Returns For 12th Annual Waterfront Party
The Lynch Park event features lawn games, food trucks, music in the shell, and a beer garden at the Carriage House.

BEVERLY, MA — One last salute to summer on the waterfront is set for this weekend when Beverly Harborfest returns to Lynch Park for a 12th year.
The event is a family celebration that includes lawn games, food trucks, music in the shell and a beer garden in the Carriage House.
Beverly Harborfest is set for 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday.

This year's highlights include a harbormaster jet boat, a rigged 420 sailboat from the Beverly High School sail team and the Sandy Point Sailing Program, a dive truck from the Beverly Fire Department and kayaks from the Kayak Learning Center.
Music Street will be back for its 12th consecutive performance with tunes for all generations.

There will be nearly a dozen food trucks with many different types of sandwiches, seafood, snacks, dinners and desserts, as well as beer from local craft breweries in the beer garden.
Other activities include games for kids, a magician, and various marine/environmental educational displays.
Those attending are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chair and to walk or bike to Lynch Park if possible. Overflow parking will be at the lot on East Lothrop Street — which is about a half-mile walk to Lynch Park.
The Beverly Harbor Management Authority hosts the annual event with help from the city, the Greater Beverly Chamber of Commerce and the YMCA of the North Shore.
