BEVERLY, MA — The Beverly High School international student exchange program is in need of host families for the 2023-24 academic year.

Programs leaders are putting out the call for families willing to host students from all over the globe as they attend high school in the city and gain an intercultural learning experience.

"Past families have told us how much they have gotten out of the experience," program officials said. "Connections are made that last well beyond the duration of the visit"

While some families from the past will be participating again next year, the school is looking for new families as well starting in August. Host families are paid a monthly fee and receive support in helping make the exchange experience as rewarding as possible for both the students and their hosts.

"Please consider hosting an international student," organizers said. "You'll be supporting this great program and past host families will tell you what a wonderful experience hosting an international student can be for everybody involved."
