Beverly Homecoming LobsterFest Menu Set For 2023

Organizers said they have looked to keep lobster prices in check this year despite rising costs.

BEVERLY, MA — Beverly Homecoming organizers have set the menu for this year's LobsterFest with President Medley Long III telling Patch this week every effort has been made to balance keeping pricing reasonable while covering rising costs and creating revenue needed to support the fireworks spectacular.

This year's LobsterFest will be on Aug. 2, the second day of the Aug. 1 through Aug. 7 event, and runs from noon to 8 p.m. at Lynch Park.

A lobster with butter will run $25 this year with a lobster roll and chips costing $28. There are also barbecue chicken and fried haddock sandwiches for $12 and $13, respectively, with hot dogs and clam chowder for $8 each.

Organizers note that 90 percent of all trash from the event is diverted from the waste stream through the Beverly Waste Reduction Committee's composting and recycling stations.

There is also a "Spirit of LobsterFest" costume contest with a parade and prizes for children.

There is no parking fee at Lynch Park for LobsterFest.
