Beverly Library Free Summer Sounds Series Starts Next Week
The first show will feature the music and talk about the careers and contributions of Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson and others.
BEVERLY, MA — The sounds and discussion on the music of Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson and others will kick off the Beverly Summer Sounds free outdoor concert series at the Beverly Public Library starting next week.
The opening show set for July 20 will feature Matt York in the Winter Street Courtyard. The Beverly Cultural Council will sponsor that show.
All shows run from 6 to 7 p.m.

Adrienne Howard and Lynn Shields Swicker will play traditional music from Ireland, Quebec, France and Appalachia on July 27.
The Bob Kramer Band will perform an acoustic blues, rock and roots show with jazz influences on Aug. 3.

Wangari Fuhari will cap the season with her innovative, modern soundscapes from Kenya on Aug. 10.
