Beverly Man Arrested on Drug Charges
Beverly Police made the arrest after he was allegedly speeding.

Beverly Police arrested a Beverly man on drug charges during a traffic stop on Friday afternoon.
Officer Thomas Nolan was monitoring traffic in the Kernwood Avenue area when he reportedly saw a driver speeding in a Cadillac Escalade. The officer followed in pursuit and the driver allegedly pulled into a driveway and tried to flee, according to Beverly Police.
Police were able to stop William Josselin, 34, of Beverly, and Nolan reportedly found a knife on Josselin and saw a large bulge in his pants pocket, which allegedly was several pill bottles. Nolan allegedly found illegal drugs on the Beverly man and more than $300 worth of heroin in the man’s car.

Police arrested Josselin and charged him with possessing a Class A drug (heroin) with the intent to distribute, possessing a Class C drug (Clonazepam), speeding and a city ordinance knife violation.
