Beverly Man Gets Prison Time In Harassment Case
John Reddy's victim told a judge Wednesday that she still feels like a hostage in her own home.

BEVERLY, MA -- A Beverly man who called an ex-girlfriend as many as 30 times a day and showed up at her home drunk on several occasions after she broke up with him will spend two years in jail. John Reddy, 40, of 24 Arthur Street in Beverly, pleaded guilty to harassing the woman for several weeks after their relationship ended last year. He was sentenced on Wednesday.
According to the Salem News which first reported this story, Reddy would show up at the woman's apartment after she had broken up with him. The victim also believes he called her as many as 30 times a day on some days. "Most of the time I felt like a hostage in my own home," the woman said during her victim impact statement.
