Beverly Municipal Building Closures, Trash Pick Up For Christmas Week
Finding out what is changing in the city with Christmas Day falling on a Sunday this year.
BEVERLY, MA — Most Beverly municipal buildings will be closed for a long weekend, while trash and recycling is delayed next week, with Christmas Day falling on a Sunday this year.
Beverly city buildings other than public safety will be closed Monday for the holiday and will reopen for business on Tuesday, Dec. 27. Beverly City Hall will be closed both Friday and Monday.
There is no delay on trash and recycling prior to the holiday this year, but there will be a one-day delay both next week and the week after New Year's Day (EDITOR'S NOTE: This is a correction from earlier publication).

The Beverly Public Library will be closed Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Monday for the observed Christmas Day holiday. The library will be open regular hours on Friday and limited hours (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.) on New Year's Eve.
Residents and visitors can still enjoy free parking in downtown Beverly for shopping, dining or visiting friends and family this December holiday season.

Park in the Green, Blue (Public Parking Lots), and Purple zones — see the map here — for free from Dec. 9 through Dec. 24.
Parking restrictions are not enforced on Sundays and holidays.
Parking limitations will be enforced in the Red zone.
Residents who live in the Red Zone with resident parking permits can also get up to three two-day temporary guest parking passes per month for their holiday guests.
