Beverly/Peabody Elks Offers 5 College Scholarships To High School Graduates

The application process is now open for high school seniors.

BEVERLY, MA — Beverly and Peabody pending high school graduates are invited to apply for five scholarships that the Beverly/Peabody Elks Lodge #1309 is offering for 2026.

The application process is now open through April 1.

Applications can be submitted by mail or by dropping them off at 302 Rantoul Street in Beverly.

The lodge said applications will be judged blindly for academic achievement, financial need, leadership and community involvement.

This year's scholarships are:

  • The Beverly/Peabody Elks Lodge Scholarship
  • The John (Jack) Carr Scholarship for students who plan to continue in pharmaceuticals or medical studies.
  • The Paul Leonard Vocational Scholarship who plan to pursue the plumbing field.
  • The John (Jack) Carney Scholarship for students who are looking to pursue a career in education or related field.
  • The Michael J. Newman Scholarship for students who plan to pursue a four-year college degree.

Applications must include a high school transcript with the latest GPA, a letter of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, coach or employer, and a one-page essay on volunteer experience.
