Beverly Police Arrest One for Drug Possession, Warrant

Thursday, Dec. 18
At 7 p.m., Beverly Police reported that a Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over traffic patrol led to nine motor vehicle stops, which resulted in eight verbal warnings and one summons.
At 7:43 p.m., a Conant Street resident reported a pickup truck was stolen from a driveway.

At 11:27 p.m., a Beverly resident reported receiving unwanted texts from a man she met last week. Police left a message for the man and asked him to call them.

At 10:38 a.m., a Cabot Street resident reported credit card fraud.
At 10:52 a.m., police responded to a Rantoul Street business about a customer refusing to leave. The customer wanted a refund on a gift certificate, but he was reportedly making the owner and customers nervous. Police advised the customer to go to court and that he was not welcome at that business. Police suggested to the owner that the business serve the person with a no trespass letter.
At 1:54 p.m., police responded to a Cabot Street bank about an irate customer who was upset that he couldn’t access his CD money. Police escorted the customer from the bank.
At 2:35 p.m., police arrested Dylan William Collupy, 18, 9 Pinehurst Ave., Beverly, and charged him with possessing a Class C drug and a warrant. Police made the arrest on Cabot Street.
At 4:50 p.m., a Blaine Avenue resident reported a purse was stolen.
