Beverly Sends Out Nearly 1,800 Ballots In First Days Of Mail-In Voting
Beverly City Clerk said 1,200 ballots were sent out on Monday and another 588 went out on Thursday.

BEVERLY, MA — In an indication that mail-in voting was not just a passing pandemic fad on the North Shore, Beverly City Clerk Lisa Kent said this week her office fulfilled nearly 1,800 requests for mail-in ballots for this fall's state primary and general elections.
Kent said her office sent out 1,200 of the ballots on Monday and another 588 on Thursday.
"If you have applied for an early ballot be on the lookout for your ballot," she said on her office's social media page. "Important. We must have your signature. Be sure to sign your name on the inner brown envelope with your name and address label on it."
