Beverly Students Earn 2026 Bishop Fenwick Underclass Awards

Students from Beverly were recognized with 2026 Bishop Fenwick Underclass Awards across academics, music and book honors.

BEVERLY, MA — Several students from Beverly were recognized with 2026 Bishop Fenwick Underclass Awards, earning honors in academics, music and college-sponsored book awards.

The awards announced for Beverly students included recognition for course achievement, leadership and character. Students honored were junior Neive Bachman for Academic Excellence in Physics and junior Jake Grenert for Stem Career Exploration.

Junior Jessica Hynes received Academic Excellence in AP Statistics and The Yale University Book Award. That honor is presented to a junior for outstanding personal character and intellectual promise.

Junior Madison O’Brien received several honors: Concert Choir Honors, Physics Honors, the Harvard Club of Boston / James R. Brady Book Award, and the Rochester Institute of Technology Business and Leadership award. According to the award descriptions, the Harvard Club of Boston / James R. Brady Book Award is presented to a junior who displays excellence in academics and high moral character combined with achievement in other fields. The Rochester Institute of Technology award is presented to a junior who has distinguished themselves academically, is an active and involved member of their school and community, and demonstrates interest and ability in business, leadership and entrepreneurship.

Junior Reese Spurchise received the University of Saint Joseph Book Award. According to the award description, it is presented to a junior who exemplifies the university’s core values, including academic excellence, leadership and commitment to service.

Junior Adelaide Sweatman received the Saint Joseph’s College of Maine Book Award, which the announcement says is presented to a student who reflects the school’s values of scholarship, service, integrity and community engagement.

Junior Camille Yanofsky received the Lasell University Book Award. According to the award description, it is presented to an honors student who embodies the Lasell motto, “Replusae Nescia (ignorant of defeat!),” and who should consistently pursue the greatest version of themselves.

Freshman Zoe Schwartz was also recognized with multiple honors, receiving Academic Excellence in Band, Geometry Honors and Biology Honors.
