Beverly Students Honored At Adelphi, Bryant, Emerson, Ithaca, WPI

BEVERLY, MA — These Beverly students were among those recently earning academic or athletic distinction at colleges and universities across the nation.

The following Bryant University students from Beverly were named to the Deans' List for the fall 2021 semester.

Matthew Gerdenich, class of 2025.

Laken Tassinari, class of 2025.

Jake Cooper, class of 2022.

Ann Murphy, class of 2022.

Shelby DeGrenier, class of 2024.

Gabriel Humdy, class of 2024,

Riley Shea, class of 2024.

Worcester Polytechnic Institute said Kayla Fabry, a member of the class of 2022 majoring in Mathematical Sciences (BS), was named to the university's Dean's List for academic excellence for the fall 2021 semester.

Sydney Anderson was named to the University of South Carolina Dean’s Honor List. Sabrina Beaudry, Drew Buoniconti and Ryan Martell were named to the President’s Honor List.

Brendan Horack, a member of the class of 2023 majoring in Interactive Media and Game Development at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), was a member of a student team that recently completed an intense research project titled Analysis of Game Studio Requirements in Higher Education.

Amy McCaffrey was named to Adelphi University's Fall 2021 Semester Dean's List.

McCaffrey was among a select group of outstanding students recognized by Adelphi's deans of Arts and Sciences, Education and Health Science, Business, Nursing and Public Health, Social Work and Psychology for superior academic performance. The list comprises full-time students registered for 12 or more credits who have completed at least nine graded credits who achieved a GPA of 3.5 or above for the semester.

Audrey Jaber is among the students named to Emerson College's Dean's List for the Fall 2021 semester. The requirement to make Dean's List is a grade point average of 3.7 or higher for that semester.

Jaber is majoring in Journalism and is a member of the class of 2022.

The University of Hartford said Ian Alsop and Caroline Kennedy were named to the Dean's List for Fall 2021.

Abigail Elizabeth McGovern was named to Husson University's Dean's List for the Fall 2021 semester.

During the fall semester, McGovern was enrolled in Husson's Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science/Doctor of Physical Therapy program.

Students who make the Dean's List must be enrolled as undergraduate student, carry a full-time load of 12 credit hours, complete all attempted courses in the time allotted for the semester, and achieve a 3.60 to 3.79 semester grade-point average. Credits from pass/fail classes do not qualify toward meeting the minimum credit hour requirement.

Colby Tassinari earned Dean's List honors at The University of Tampa for the Fall 2021 semester. Tassinari is majoring in Animation BFA. Students must maintain a GPA of 3.75 or higher to be eligible for the dean's list.

Ithaca College student Mackenzie Bauer was named to the Dean's List for the fall 2021 semester.

Seton Hall University said Andrew Curran qualified for the Spring 2021 Dean's List.

Marje Mulumba, a sophomore football player at Stonehill College, received Academic Honors for a GPA between 3.00 and 3.49.
