Beverly Students Honored At Bates, Bryant, Clark, Emerson, Tufts

These Beverly students were among those recently earning academic or athletic distinctions.

BEVERLY, MA — These Beverly students were among those recently earning academic or athletic distinctions at colleges, universities and schools across the nation.

Rosie Gotsch and Ellie Richardson both earned a spot on the St. Lawrence Dean's List for the fall semester. Gotsch is a member of the Class of 2023 and is majoring in environmental studies-sociology.

Gotsch attended Beverly High School. Richardson attended Proctor Academy.

William Kilcoyne was named to its President's Honors List at the University of Hartford for fall 2022.

The President's Honors List at Hartford is made up of an extremely select group of students who earned a grade point average of 3.75 or higher in the semester. This is the GPA that must be sustained over a full undergraduate career to qualify for a degree summa cum laude.

Matthew Dube earned a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta.

Dube was among approximately 5,620 undergraduate and graduate students to be presented with Georgia Tech degrees during the Institute's 263rd Commencement exercises on Dec. 16 and Dec. 17 at Bobby Dodd Stadium.

Cecelia Dukes and Jacob Wasserman were named to the Champlain College Dean's List for achieving a grade point average of 3.5 or higher in the Fall 2022 semester.

Abbey Otterbein was amed to the Dean's List at Bates College for the fall semester ending in December 2022. This is a distinction earned by students whose grade point average is 3.92 or higher.

Otterbein is a graduate of Phillips Academy. She is a senior at Bates majoring in neuroscience and minoring in religious studies.

Andrew Samperi and Andrew Curran qualified for the Seton Hall University fall 2022 Dean's List and to congratulate them for their outstanding academic achievements.

Ian Alsop and Caroline Kennedy earned a spot on the University of Hartford President's Honors List is made up of an extremely select group of students who earned a grade point average of 3.75 or higher in the semester.

Isabelle Maiante made Emmanuel College's Dean's List for the fall 2022 semester. To earn a spot on the Dean's List, Emmanuel students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or higher for a 16-credit semester.

The following Tufts University students earned a place on the Dean's List for the fall semester: Malcolm Henderson, Class of 2024, Katarina Lidrbauch, Class of 2023, Agathe Smith, Class of 2025, Emma Thomas, Class of 2027, Sam Truong, Class of 2024, Bryce Visnick, Class of 2023.

Dean's List honors at Tufts University require a semester grade point average of 3.4 or greater.

To earn a place on the Bryant Dean's List students must have a GPA of 3.4 or better for at least 12 semester hours of work during the fall semester. The Beverly students who earned the honor were Shelby DeGrenier, Matthew Gerdenich, Edward Reynolds, Riley Shea and Laken Tassinari.

Stephanie Pratt was named to the Dean's List at Hamilton College for the 2022 fall semester.

To be named to the Dean's List, a student must have carried a course load of four or more graded credits throughout the semester and earned an average of 3.5 or above on a 4.0 scale.

These Beverly students made Clark University's fall 2022 Dean's List first honors: Jeremiah DeJesus, Natasha Devlin, Juliet Ekborg, Mars Goodwin, Natalie Stilwell and Sara Wheeler.

Students must have a GPA of 3.8 or above for first honors or a GPA between 3.50 and 3.79 for second honors.

Emerson College student Katherine Doherty earned Dean's List honors for the fall 2022 Semester.

The requirement to make Dean's List is a grade point average of 3.7 or higher for that semester.

Doherty is majoring in Writing, Lit and Publishing and is a member of the Class of 2023.

More than 2,700 undergraduate students at Coastal Carolina University were named to the Dean's List for the fall 2022 semester, including Victoria Kepler. Students who make the Dean's List have achieved a grade point average of 3.5 or higher (3.25 for freshmen) for the semester.

Abi McGovern was named to Husson University's Honors List for the Fall 2022 semester.

During the fall semester, McGovern was enrolled in Husson's Doctor of Physical Therapy/Bachelor of Science in the exercise science program.
