Beverly Students Honored At Belmont, Hofstra, SNHU, UMass-Lowell, WPI

BEVERLY, MA — These Beverly students were among those recently earning academic or athletic distinctions at colleges, universities and schools across the nation.

Beverly students have been named to the Fall 2023 Dean's List at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a GPA of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean's List that semester.

The Dean's List students from Beverly were Molly Delorenzo, Angel Deschamps, Thomas Keene of Beverly and Zachary Lang.

Daniel Morency and Arianna Marchese-Ward were named to the Plymouth State University President's List for the Fall 2023 semester. To be named to the President's List, a student must achieve a grade point average of 3.70 or better for the Fall 2023 semester and must have completed at least 12 credit hours during the semester, at least nine of which must confer grade points, at the time the lists are finalized.

Morency is a Marketing major at Plymouth State. Marchese-Ward is an Elementary Ed & Youth Develop. major at Plymouth State.

Ashley Richardson excelled during the Fall 2023 semester at Hofstra, achieving a GPA of at least 3.5 to earn a spot on the Dean's List. Richardson's major is English.

It is with great pleasure that Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) congratulates the following students on being named to the Fall 2023 Dean's List. The fall terms run from September to December.

Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.500 to 3.699 for the reporting term are named to the Dean's List. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits over each 16-week term or paired 8-week terms grouped in fall, winter/spring, and summer.

Kimberly Way, Gianna Baglioni Mathias, Caitlyn Minelli, Allison Bamford, Matthew Fanara, Anna Vertiyev and Justin Butters were named to the Fall 2023 President's List at Southern New Hampshire University. Students making the President's List have a GPA of 3.7 or higher and are in full-time status.

Bryce Caron and Karissa Fennelly were named to the Fall 2023 Dean's List at Southern New Hampshire University. Students making the Dean's List have a GPA of between 3.5 to 3.699 and are in full-time status.

Eric DePiero, a member of the class of 2025 majoring in Management Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), was a member of a student team that recently completed an intense research project titled Building Awareness For The Vulnerable Tuturuatu Shore Plover.

At WPI, all undergraduates are required to complete a research-driven, professional-level project that applies science and technology that addresses an important societal need or issue. About two-thirds of students complete a project at one of the university's 50-plus off-campus project centers, which are located around the world. A signature element of the innovative undergraduate experience at WPI, the project-based curriculum offers students the opportunity to apply their scientific and technical knowledge to develop thoughtful solutions to real problems that affect the quality of people's lives and make a difference before they graduate.

Ashley DuKatz and Ian Roy achieved the Dean's List at Belmont University for the Fall 2023 semester. Eligibility is based on a minimum course load of 12 hours (exclusive of audit and pass/fail courses this semester) and a quality grade point average of 3.5 with no grade below a C (inclusive of audit, pass/fail courses and zero-credit courses).

Victoria Kepler was selected as the best person to work with in their Fundamentals of Visual Art course, taught by Professor Granita at Lasell University for the 2023 fall semester. Recipients of the Collaboration Recognition Award are selected by their peers for exemplifying superior skills in collaboration by sharing ideas and useful information, communicating in a professional manner, and cooperating in a way that ensures success.

Heidi Eberhardt is enrolled in the University at Buffalo Honors College for the 2023-24 academic year.

Mars Orfanos, a member of the UMass-Lowell Class of 2026 in the Kennedy College of Sciences, earned a place on the Chancellor's List for the fall semester with a GPA of between 3.85 and 4.0.

More than 900 new students are in their first semester at Eastern Connecticut State University this fall 2023. The new admits include 696 first-time students and 254 transfer students who are enrolled in undergraduate and graduate-level programs.

Among them is Gledis Levenishti, a first-year student who is majoring in Biochemistry and Psychology.
