Beverly Students Honored At Clark, Holy Cross, RPI, Stonehill, URI

These Beverly students were among those recently earning academic or athletic distinctions.

BEVERLY, MA — These Beverly students were among those recently earning academic or athletic distinctions at colleges, universities and schools across the nation.

Hailey Carroll was named to the Plymouth State University President's List for the spring 2023 semester.

To be named to the President's List, a student must achieve a grade point average of 3.7 or better.

Colton Petrosino and Tyler Serino made the Dean's List. Petrosino was a finance major and Serino is a marketing major.

To be named to the Dean's List, a student must achieve a grade point average of between 3.5 and 3.69.

Carroll also graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Allied Health Sciences.

Kyle Hewson graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

Petrosino graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Finance.

Mars Orfanos earned Dean's List honors at UMass-Lowell. Orfanos is a member of the class of 2026 and attends the Francis College of Engineering.

Emerson College awarded approximately 1,058 undergraduate degrees during the 143rd Commencement at Agganis Arena on May 14.

Katherine Doherty earned a BA in Writing, Lit and Publishing.

Sara Wheeler graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology at Clark University. Wheeler is also a member of the Phi Beta Kappa honor society.

William Mark Talbot graduated with a Master of Arts in Community Development and Planning at Clark.

Natalie L. Stilwell graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Management at Clark.

Jeremiah L. DeJesus, Juliet M. Ekborg, Mars L. Goodwin and Stilwell were named to first honors at Clark.

Natasha A. Devlin was named to second honors at Clark.

Students must have a GPA of 3.8 or above for first honors or a GPA between 3.50 and 3.79 for second honors.

Noah Mann, from the class of 2023, was named to the spring 2023 high honors list at Pomfret School. To achieve this level of distinction, Noah earned a grade point average of at least 3.670 and received no grade lower than a B+.

The University of Rhode Island said Lily Clark, Natalie Devitt, Mandy Mariano, Joseph Tracchia and Ava Wesley were named to the spring semester Dean's List.

To be included on the Dean's List, full-time students must have completed 12 or more credits for letter grades which are GPA applicable during a semester and achieved at least a 3.30 quality point average.

Molly Delorenzo, Angel Deschamps, Thomas Keene and Zachary Lang were named to the spring 2023 Dean's List at Roger Williams University. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a GPA of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean's List that semester.

Zachary Hall, who is studying architecture, has made the Dean's Honor List for the spring 2023 semester at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York.

Rensselaer's Dean's Honor List is compiled at the end of each semester to recognize undergraduate students who have completed 12 or more credit hours with a 3.5 grade point average or better for that term.

Justin Smith graduated from Rensselaer with a BS in aeronautical engineering.

Abi McGovern has been named to Husson University's Dean's List for the spring 2023 semester.

During the spring semester, McGovern was enrolled in Husson's Bachelor of Science in exercise science/Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program.

Students who make the Dean's List at Husson must be enrolled as an undergraduate student, carry a full-time load of 12 credit hours, complete all attempted courses in the time allotted for the semester, and achieve a 3.60 to 3.79 semester grade-point average.

Stephanie Pratt was named to the 2023 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) spring All-Academic Team for women's tennis at Hamilton College. The recognition honors sophomores, juniors, and seniors who have maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher.

Pratt, a rising sophomore majoring in economics, is a graduate of Manchester Essex Regional High School.

Elyse Kersten was named to the President's List at James Madison University for the spring 2023 semester. Students who earn president's list honors must carry at least 12 graded credit hours and earn a GPA of 3.900 or above. Kersten is majoring in Communication Studies - BS.

Cam Guyer was one of more than 550 members of St. Lawrence University's Class of 2023 who took part in the Commencement ceremonies held on May 21 at Newell Field House in Canton, New York.

Guyer is a member of the Class of 2023 and majored in performance and communication arts. Guyer attended Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School.

Jack Winnie, Shannon Corcoran, Kendall Darcy and David DiPietro were among nearly 1,000 students named to the spring 2023 Dean's List at Stonehill College.

To qualify for the Stonehill Dean's List, students must have a semester grade point average of 3.50 or better and must have successfully completed all courses for which they were registered.

The Lasell College spring 2023 Dean's List includes students who have completed at least 12 credits as full-time students in that semester and have achieved a semester GPA of 3.5 or higher. The list includes Beverly students Miranda Urbanski and Emily Stilwell.

Springfield College named Caeden Hale to the Dean's List for academic excellence for the 2023 spring semester.

Hale has a primary major in psychology.

Joseph Martin earned a bachelor of arts degree from the College of the Holy Cross.

Martin is among 762 bachelor of arts degree recipients Holy Cross celebrated at its 177th Commencement held in person on May 26 at the DCU Center in Worcester.

Jordan Butters, a 2019 grad of Beverly High, graduated from SNHU magna cum laude with a degree in mathematics. She was also was a member of the women's soccer team and honored with an NE10 Team Academic Excellence award.

Butters will pursue her graduate degree at Rivier University and play her last year of eligibility there.

Justin Butters was named to the President's List at SNHU. He was a 2021 graduate of Beverly High and will be a junior at SNHU studying criminal justice.

Rona Scott was named to the 2023 Little East Conference All-Academic Team as a senior softball player at the University of Southern Maine.
