Beverly Students Honored At Clarkson, Stonehill, UNH, Vermont, WPI

These Beverly students were among those recently earning academic or athletic distinction.

BEVERLY, MA — These Beverly students were among those recently earning academic or athletic distinction at colleges, universities and schools across the nation.

Mark Anthony Bedetti, a junior majoring in engineering and management, was named a Presidential Scholar for the Spring 2022 semester at Clarkson University.

Presidential Scholars must achieve a minimum 3.80 grade-point average and carry at least 14 credit hours.

Jessica Theriault and Christopher Cole graduated from the University of New Hampshire in Durham on May 20, May 21 and May 22.

Brianna Soucy of Beverly was named to the Spring 2022 Dean's List at Hudson Valley Community College.

Soucy is studying in the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program at the Troy, NY college.

Matthew Burgess and Kaili Guyer were among the 561 students, including 532 undergraduate and 29 graduate degree recipients, processed at Stonehill College's 71st Commencement on May 22.

The following Beverly students were awarded bachelor's degrees at WPI's Commencement Ceremony on May 14:

Kayla Fabry majored in Mathematical Sciences.

Skylah Mahon-Dixey majored in Civil Engineering.

The following Beverly students earned a place on the President's List at Southern New Hampshire University: Bryce Caron, Amir Ismail, Maarten Oosterbaan, Ryan Arundel, Kimberly Way and Alicia Bradley.

The following students earned a place on the Dean's List at SNHU: Michaela McCay, Colleen Powers and Joana DeSousa.

Curry College welcomed Amanda Thornton into the Alexander Graham Bell Honor Society.

The objective of the Alexander Graham Bell (AGB) Honor Society is to promote and recognize academic excellence at Curry College. The Society is named for the famous inventor, Alexander Graham Bell, who was an early chancellor at Curry College. It was founded in 1971 to recognize and promote academic excellence through a variety of activities at Curry.

The Alexander Graham Bell Honor Society is one of Curry's most distinguished organizations. Membership in the Society is limited to those students who have achieved Dean's List every semester while enrolled at Curry College. In the spring semester of 2022, 147 traditional undergraduate students were welcomed into the Alexander Graham Bell Honor Society.

Thornton was also welcomed into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing's Theta-at-Large Chapter.

Hannah Robledo, Daniella West and Thornton graduated from Curry College in May.

The following students recently were initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation's oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines, at Salem State University: Alexander Tilkens, Monica Chhay, Simone French, Sara Pompeo and Hannah Valenzuela.

Stephanie MacLeod graduated Cum Laude with a B.S. in Management in May as part of the Roger Williams University Class of 2022.

Roger Williams University's spring 2022 Dean's List for students with at least 12 course credits completed and a grade-point average of 3.4 or higher includes MacLeod and Molly Delorenzo.

Clark Marchand was awarded a degree in Health Science from American International College (AIC). Marchand joins 216 undergraduate students representing five countries, 12 states, and Puerto Rico in receiving congratulations.

Springfield College Dean's List students for the 2022 spring semester included Caeden Hale. Hale is a psychology major.

The Dean's List also included Katie Noonan. She is a sociology major.

Ian Alsop and Caroline Kennedy were named to the President's Honors List and Dean's List at the University of Hartford this spring.

Amy McCaffrey was named to Adelphi University's spring 2022 semester Dean's List.

McCaffrey was among a select group of outstanding students recognized by Adelphi's deans of Arts and Sciences, Education and Health Science, Business, Nursing and Public Health, Social Work and Psychology for superior academic performance.

Miranda Urbanski was named to the Lasell University Dean's List for their academic performance in the spring 2022 semester.

The following students have been named to the dean's list for the spring 2022 semester at the University of Vermont: Chloe Becker, Sarah Hall and Alison Kyrouz.

To be named to the dean's list, students must have a grade-point average of 3.0 or better and rank in the top 20 percent of their class in their respective college or school.

Emma Slepian was named to the Cazenovia College Dean's List for the spring 2022 semester. Those named to the Dean's List have achieved a 3.5 or better grade point average.

Nazareth College said Elizabeth Desilvestre was named to the Dean's List for the spring 2022 semester.

A student's grade point average must be at least 3.5 or above, and they must complete 12 credit hours of graded work that semester in order to be included on the dean's list at Nazareth.
