Beverly Students Honored At Curry, Hofstra, RIT, St. Lawrence, Tufts

BEVERLY, MA — These Beverly students were among those recently earning academic or athletic distinctions at colleges, universities and schools across the nation.

Beverly students were among the St. Lawrence University students named to the Dean's List for the spring 2023 semester.

Cam Guyer was a member of the Class of 2023 and is majoring in performance and communication arts. Guyer attended Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School.

Ellie Richardson was a member of the Class of 2023 and is majoring in sociology. Richardson attended Proctor Academy.

To be eligible for the Dean's List, a student must have completed at least four courses and have an academic average of 3.6 based on a 4.0 scale for the semester.

Seton Hall University said Andrew Samperi qualified for the Spring 2023 Dean's List.

Undergraduate students completing all courses with a GPA of 3.4, with no grades lower than C, qualify for the Dean's List.

James Madison University welcomed the class of 2027 to campus this month.

The incoming class includes:

Max Hemsey, who plans to major in Marketing - BBA.

Rook Landman, who plans to major in Exploratory.

Montclair State University said that Ava Youngreen was named to the spring 2023 Dean's List. Youngreen is a Music Therapy major.

To qualify, students must earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Curry College said six Beverly students were among the 900 students who were named to the spring 2023 Dean's List.

The Beverly students earning the honor were Taylor Beckett, Julia Erricola, Daniel Grant, Conor Hanlon, Nicholas Johnson and Kylie McCarthy.

Olivia DiPietro graduated from Hofstra University in May 2023, earning a BBA in Finance.

Tufts University said seven Beverly students earned Dean's List honors this past spring. To qualify for the Dean's List, students must earn a grade point average of 3.4 or greater.

The Beverly students earning Dean's List honors were Joseph Battistelli, Malcolm Henderson, Katarina Lidrbauch, Agathe Smith, Emma Thomas, Sam Truong and Bryce Visnick.

Tufts University awarded more than 2,800 degrees across all schools during its ceremony commemorating the accomplishments of the Class of 2023.

Lidrbauch also graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Samantha Lake graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with a degree in criminal justice.

About 4,800 degrees were conferred in the 2022-2023 academic year at all of RIT's campuses.

Sam Winn was named to Framingham State's Dean's list. Dean's List students at Framingham State have a GPA higher than 3.3. Winn is a finance major.
