Beverly Students Honored At Holy Cross, SNHU, URI, Wheaton

These Beverly students were among those recently earning academic or athletic distinctions.

BEVERLY, MA — These Beverly students were among those recently earning academic or athletic distinctions at colleges, universities and schools across the nation.

New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine welcomed its newest medical students, including Malcolm Zeroka from Beverly, during ceremonies where members of the class of 2026 received their first white coats.

The white coat ceremony is a medical school rite of passage that marks the official start of a student's medical education.

Eric DiPietro graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina. He double majored in International Business and Marketing with a minor in Spanish.

The College of the Holy Cross welcomed Gabriella Mooney of Beverly as a member of the College's Class of 2026.

At 904 students, representing the largest class in Holy Cross' 179-year history, the Class of 2026 hails from 575 high schools, 14 countries and four continents.

Jaxon Thomas, from Beverly, is one of more than 4,500 students who began their collegiate journey at Utah State University, enrolling in the Fall 2022 semester as a first-year college student. Thomas will attend USU at the USU Main campus.

The University of Rhode Island celebrated more than 4,000 of its newest alumni during the University's 136th Commencement. Close to 3,600 undergraduate degrees and more than 800 graduate degrees were conveyed to students during the ceremonies which took place May 20-22, 2022, including Beverly students:

Anaiis Emma Straw, Thomas Alexander Gonzalez, Emily Elizabeth Krendel, Jacob Doyon, Ava Mary Gonzalez, Kate Slaven, Logan Stevens and Kiely Alexis Hope.

Wheaton College's Savannah Joy Panjwani graduated with a BS in Applied Health Science and a minor in Urban Studies in May 2022.

Seton Hall University said Andrew Curran qualified for the spring 2022 Dean's List.

After the close of every semester, undergraduate students completing all courses with a GPA of 3.4, with no grades lower than "C", qualify for the Dean's List.

Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.700 and above for the reporting term are named to the Southern New Hampshire University President's List.

Beverly students on the SNHU President's List were Devin Zelck, Allison Bamford, Ryan Arundel, Joshua Spitaleri, Alicia Bradley, Colleen Powers and Ryan Hegarty.
