BEVERLY, MA — These Beverly students were among those recently earning academic or athletic distinctions at colleges, universities and schools across the nation.
Hailey Anderson was the valedictorian of the graduating class at Saint Joseph's College in Maine. Close to 400 graduates were honored during the commencement last month.
Kennedy Faris was named to the University of Rhode Island spring 2024 Dean's List. To be included on the Dean's List, full-time students must have completed 12 or more credits for letter grades which are GPA applicable during a semester and achieved at least a 3.30 quality point average.

Elyse Kersten and Max Hemsey were named to the James Madison University Dean's List this spring. Kersten graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Communications Studies this spring, while Hemsey is majoring in Marketing.
Elizabeth Desilvestre was named to the Dean's List at Nazareth University with a grade-point average of 3.5 or above.

Miranda Urbanski, Hala Purtell, Emily Stilwell, Nicholas DeSouza, Kaylee Gillis and Victoria Kepler were named to the Dean's List at Lasell College this spring with a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
Urbanski graduated from Lasell with a Forensic Science Degree. She graduated Cum Laude and Delta Delta Epsilon (International Forensic Science Honor Society).
Three Beverly students were among the 823 members of Salve Regina University's graduation class: Brayden Clark earned a BS in Finance, Madison Desmond earned a BS degree in Social Work and Tyler Petrosino earned a BS degree in Accounting.
Owen Gaffney and Eliza Kerivan were among the 751 bachelor of arts degree recipients at the 178th Holy Cross graduation at the DCU Center in Worcester on May 24.
Amelia Brodbine, Andrew Morin and Kevin Reynolds were among the 625 students who graduated at Stonehill College's 73rd Commencement on May 19.
Alexi Echevarria graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
Ava Dickman, a member of the class of 2025 majoring in Business at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), was a member of a student team that recently completed an intense research project titled Assessing the Feasibility of WAAM for Ship Repair.

Julia Erricola was into the Alexander Graham Bell Honor Society at Curry College. The Society is named for the famous inventor, Alexander Graham Bell, who was an early chancellor at Curry College. It was founded in 1971 to recognize and promote academic excellence through a variety of activities at Curry.
Adelaide Maloney was recently initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation's oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society. Maloney was initiated at University of Massachusetts.
Joss Kyrouz was initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi at Salem State University.
Harrison Skilling was initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi at Syracuse University.
Jacob Wasserman was named to the Champlain College Dean's List for the fall 2023 semester. Students on the Dean's List have achieved a grade point average of 3.5 or higher during the semester. Wasserman is currently majoring in Finance.
Rosamaria Rodriguez of Beverly graduated with a BA in Psychology from Regis College during the May 11 commencement exercises. Rodriguez was among more than 1,100 students who received degrees ranging from associate to doctorate.
Bryce Caron, Samir Ismail, Jeremmy Pena, Gianna Baglioni Mathias, Anna Vertiyev and Justin Butters were named to the Southern New Hampshire University President's List for winter 2024.
Brett Wolonsavich was named to the SNHU Dean's List.
