Each site is staffed by board-certified nurse practitioners and offers vaccinations, health screenings, routine lab testing and treatment for minor illnesses and injuries.

Care is available to patients 18 months and older seven days a week, including evenings and weekends.

"By making care more accessible, we can help patients address health concerns earlier and avoid unnecessary visits to higher-cost settings such as the emergency room," said Tara Allain, FNP-BC, Executive Area Director, MinuteClinic. "These new MinuteClinic locations will help ensure patients in Charlestown, Beverly and Swampscott have convenient access to preventive, wellness and acute care services close to home."

CVS Health said walk-ins are welcome, and patients can also schedule appointments in advance through the CVS Health app. Most major health insurance is accepted, and self-pay options are also available.

Each clinic includes a digital check-in kiosk, a dedicated waiting area and private exam rooms.
