BEVERLY, MA — A packed crowd filled this historic Cabot Theater in Beverly for The Cabot's Big Night, the venue's fourth annual fundraiser supporting its mission of bringing the community together through performances, films and events.

This year's event featured a sold-out performance by Grammy Award-winning musician Trombone Shorty. The evening also included a tribute to two members of The Cabot community who died this year, Cabot co-founder and board member Bill Howard and longtime supporter Caleb Loring III.

The fundraiser is held each year in support of the historic venue's mission of sparking creativity, conversation and connection.

This year's honoree was David Masse, founder and CEO of AAM15 Management, a diversified investment firm focused on hospitality, multifamily and student housing.

"The Cabot is a rare place," said Brian Ridolfo, President and CEO of The Cabot. "It has deep roots, but what really makes it special is the community that continues to show up for it, support it, and believe in what it can be.

"Tonight reminded me exactly why this work matters. We're incredibly grateful to everyone who made the evening so special, especially this year's honoree, David Masse. As we near the completion of our renovations, The Cabot is stepping into an exciting new chapter, and that simply would not be possible without the generosity and support of the North Shore community."

Masse is a Beverly High School graduate and remains involved with the North Shore community through board service and support for local institutions, including The Cabot. His company oversees a portfolio that includes 12 hotels, New England apartment communities, Kelly's Restaurant Group and Turner Hill Country Club.

Ridolfo’s remarks also pointed to what is next for the venue, with renovations nearing completion.

The annual fundraiser supports that broader work as The Cabot moves toward its next chapter in Beverly.
