Beverly's Cabot Theater To Host John Cusack 'High Fidelity' Screening
The acclaimed actor, producer and screenwriter will host a moderated discussion and Q & A about his 2000 hit film following the screening.

BEVERLY, MA — In his 2000 film "High Fidelity" the lead character Rob Gordon — played by film screenwriter, producer and actor John Cusack — posed the rock n' roll riddle from the Nick Hornby novel: "What came first: the music or the misery?"
Did he listen to the music because he was miserable? Or was he miserable because he listened to the music?
Those who have pondered that question for the past two decades might just get the answer on Oct. 5 when Cusack comes to Beverly's historic Cabot Theater for a screening of the 2000 pop culture classic about a man, a Chicago record store and a reconciliation of how his greatest loves went so wrong, followed by a moderated discussion and a Q & A session on the film.
