Beverly's Herrick House Names New Executive Director

BEVERLY, MA — The Herrick House of Beverly has a new executive director after Paul Rapazzo was named to lead the senior living community where he has worked since 2013.

Rapazzo, who has 15 years of experience in the senior living industry, served the last two years as the associate executive director after previously serving as the director of community relations. The residence, which offers assisted living, respite care and a specialized Spectrum Memory Care Program for individuals with cognitive impairment, is part of Beth Israel Lahey Health.

"Paul has been an incredible advocate for The Herrick House, introducing initiatives to improve programming, overseeing business operations and fostering lasting relationships with residents, families and staff built on respect and caring," Jennifer Gizmunt, president of Continuing Care for Beth Israel Lahey Health. "We look forward to staying true to our mission while continuing to evolve and provide the best possible care and lifestyle for all our residents under leadership."

Rapazzo said he is eager to continue to support the unique physical, emotional and social needs of Herrick residents.

Rapazzo holds a bachelor's degree in business administration, quality management from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas.

He replaces Nancy Moore, who is retiring as The Herrick House’s Executive Director after 13 years.

"We thank Nancy for her four decades of service to older adults in Massachusetts and especially for her last 13 years making Herrick House a special place for our residents and a premier assisted living community on the North Shore," Gizmunt said.

The Herrick House is a certified assisted living community located on the upper campus of Beverly Hospital offering 85 private apartments, respite stay options and a specialized Spectrum Memory Care Program.
