The Beverly Police Department will be promoting bike safety with an event later today (Monday) at Lynch Park.
The event, titled the Bike Rodeo, will be from 4-7 p.m.

Biking during the beautiful August weather should be something safe for cyclists and motorists alike. But according to mass.gov, there were more than 50 cyclists killed in accidents from 2010-2015 in Massachusetts.
