Blizzard 2026: Beverly Snow Emergency Parking Ban Declared
The parking ban was set to go into effect on Sunday night until at least Tuesday morning.
BEVERLY, MA — A snow emergency parking ban was to begin at 10 p.m. on Sunday ahead of what could be a historic blizzard overnight into Monday.
Up to 20 inches of snow is expected across the North Shore, along with winds gusting to 60 mph and coastal flooding possible.
The parking ban will remain in effect until at least 7 a.m. on Tuesday.

An announcement on school closures for Monday was expected after 3 p.m. on Sunday.
Municipal lots are available for residents — meter fees must be paid during normal meter hours.
