Angie Miller, the Next American Idol and a tribute to her family!

My name is Dawn and I live in Hawaii-This is an "open letter" to Angie Miller's mom & dad, Mrs. Tana & Mr. Guy Miller, of Beverly, Massachusettes-I am not "a blogger" but was told this is the way I could thank Mr. & Mrs. Miller-Being an "avid" American Idol fan (my husband, mom & dad too!), I wanted them to know how appreciative we are , in the islands, that they and your community are sharing "Angie" with all of America!

Mr. & Mrs. Miller, thank you for having raised such an "awesome" daughter! Yes, she is talented, beyond belief, and yes, she is a beauty, and yes, she is smart, and yes, she is a charmer!-But, more than all of that, it is very evident that Angie has a huge heart and is such a caring individual! She may "have been born perfect, in your eyes", but we know you had to have been such a strong, vital, important, and loving influence, on the young woman she has become!-Being an only child daughter, of 2 magnificent parents myself, I know how important loving & caring parents can be for a child! You truly must have done something "really, really right", to have produced this beautiful (inside and out) young woman!

My husband, Terry, and my parents, Marge & Duke, here in Hawaii, as well as many people around the nation, have made it clear, with their votes on American Idol, that Angie opitomizes what an "Idol" should be-Angie has been blessed with an incredible talent to sing, play the piano, song write, and more-But what sets her apart from so many, is Angie's heart and how she presents herself!-Thank you for being such a positive and supportive influence on Angie, and sharing her with the rest of us in America-Young girls (and young people in general) can learn so much from your "Ray of Light, called Angie", as she is the kind of influence, especially in the way she conducts herself, (with that Big Heart), that will help to make the world a better place!

I wish I was more eloquent, but just know this, Mr. & Mrs. Miller-Those of us in Hawaii are voting every week, for 2 hours (and me, on 3 phones), to try to help your daughter accomplish her dreams-She has more than earned it and deserves it!-She is "a joy" and we again, thank you for bringing up a beautiful example of what "true heart" can accomplish!

Here is to Angie, the next American Idol! And a special thanks to Tana & Guy Miller, (and also, "Grandma") and the community of Beverly, Massachusettes, for allowing the rest of us to share in Angie's journey!-We are honored to be along for the ride!-Here is to a beautiful and fullfilling life ahead for Angie and her family!
