St. Peter's Beverly Programs for Children & Teens begin Sunday, Sept. 16th

St. Peter's Beverly at Ocean and Hale streets offers free cutting edge programs for children, from ages three through the teen years. Programs resume Sunday, September 16th.

St. Peter’s Episcopal Church at Ocean and Hale streets in downtown Beverly features a range of cutting edge programming for children and youth, free of charge.

St. Peter's has been offering the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd for children ages 3 to 12 since 1999. The worldwide, Bible-based program presents to children the heart of the Gospel -- the light and love of Christ. Sessions run Sundays at 9:15 am from September to June. The first Sunday of every month is Family Sunday and features a children’s homily by The Rev. Manuel P. Faria, III (Manny), Rector of St. Peter’s. Sunday worship is at 10 am.

St. Peter’s Youth (SPYs) gather regularly for fellowship, fun field trips and community service projects, as well as an annual retreat to the diocesan camp in New Hampshire.  This fall, they will be participating in self-defense classes and helping with Common Communion, a ministry to the homeless in Boston. There are separate SPY groups for middle and high school students.
