The Cabot and Off Cabot Announce Jam-Packed Week of Music, Movies, and Improv
From a 40th-anniversary screening of 'Stand By Me' to a 'Star Wars' improv workshop, Beverly's downtown arts scene is buzzing this week.

BEVERLY, MA — Whether you are looking for cinematic nostalgia, genre-bending rock, or a trip to a "galaxy far, far away," downtown Beverly has you covered. The Cabot and its intimate sibling venue, Off Cabot Comedy & Events, have released their lineup for the week of April 27, featuring a diverse array of local talent and national touring acts.
Main Stage Magic at The Cabot
The historic Cabot Theatre kicks off the weekend on Friday, May 1, by transporting audiences back to 1986. A special 40th-anniversary screening of the coming-of-age classic Stand By Me will begin at 7:00 p.m.
On Saturday night, the energy shifts to high-concept rock with Pink Talking Fish. This "hybrid tribute" fusion act is known for seamlessly weaving together the catalogs of Pink Floyd, The Talking Heads, and Phish, creating a unique sonic experience for jam-band enthusiasts.
