Acting and Stage Combat

And…action! How do actors fight on stage without actually hurting each other or themselves? How do they develop characters outside the construct of the set and the whole play? The answers to these and other questions will be on display at this showcase of skill and talent. Students in DRA108 and 208 Stage Combat and Advanced Stage Combat, and students in DRA106 Private Theater Instruction, will present scenes and monologues in a variety of styles and genres. Be ready to laugh, cry, and… wince as actors engage in harrowing stunts and conflict!
