The Endicott Singers’ Pops tradition continues: the students in the choir choose the theme and music by vote - and this year Love won! With songs for the full chorus and chamber choirs, plus featured solos and small groups, this show features a live combo of student and professional instrumentalists. Wellspring House presents Celesong 2026, an intimate Nashville-style songwriters' round featuring nationally acclaimed artists Darrell Scott, Beth Nielsen Chapman, and Marcus Hummon — between them, Songwriters Hall of Fame inductees, Grammy Award winners, and Lifetime Achievement honorees. Emceed by Billy Costa, the evening includes storytelling, live music, and a live auction. All proceeds benefit Wellspring House, which serves more than 2,000 North Shore families and individuals each year through housing, education, and workforce development program.&nbsp;<a href="https://wellspringhouse.org/celesong2026" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank"></a>
The special evening takes place Friday, May 1, 2026, with doors opening at 6:00pm, the concert will be from 6:45pm–9:00 pm at the&nbsp;Shalin Liu Performance Center located at 37 Main St, Rockport, MA

The Bower

&nbsp;Breath and Line pairs late Romantic chamber music for winds and strings with live visual art. From Amy Beach’s luminous flute Variations to the autumnal depth of Brahms’ Clarinet Quintet, from Elgar’s intimate Romance for bassoon to the radiant warmth of Florence Price’s Adoration, we trace how far a single melodic line can stretch, and how much feeling a single breath can hold.
Breath and Line continues our multi sensory, accessible series “Notes on Belonging”. As the music unfolds, visual artists respond in real time, tracing the contours and phrasing of the performance. The result is an immersive exploration of breath, movement, and line.

Charlestown-born Steve Sweeney is known as the "undisputed King of Boston comedy“, the embodiment of the city he calls home, a local guy who has become a nationally recognizable talent.
Sweeney is known not only as a headlining comedian, but also through his many memorable TV and movie appearances. During the early 1970s, a small group of Boston 'would-be' comedians performed regularly at a comedy club started by Martin Olson and Barry Crimmins in a back room of the Chinese restaurant, Ding-Ho, near Inman Square in Cambridge, MA. This group also included such unknowns as Lenny Clarke, Kevin Meaney, Jay Leno, Bobcat Goldthwait, Bill Sohonage, and Steven Wright. Steve stood out from the crowd by incorporating his great insight into the New England political scene into his act.
He was the first of the Boston super-stars to break into television, appearing on "Park Street Under," a Boston based sitcom that many believe was the inspiration for the highly successful television show "Cheers." He's also been on "Late Night with David Letterman," "Evening at The Improv" and "Comics Come Home." You might remember his small but hilarious parts in films such as Rodney Dangerfield's "Back to School," Judd Apatow's "Celtic Pride," and "There's Something About Mary" with Ben Stiller.

We all have a wish to be happy and avoid suffering. Throughout our lives, we travel many different paths driven by this desire: career, relationships, home, vacations, etc. But ultimately, these external paths do not yield the results we seek.
During these introductory Dharma talks and meditation sessions, we will discuss the internal paths that can lead to discovering real happiness and a more meaningful life.
Join longtime Kadampa Buddhist practitioner, Tim Hogarty, to:
<ul><li>Learn a Buddhist approach to finding authentic happiness</li><li>Practice simple meditations to support this approach</li></ul>

A branding and design specialist by trade, Jeff studied at Carnegie Mellon, worked in Boston and London for many years, and co-founded and ran Catapult Thinking from 2000 – 2015. 
Following a stroke during a triple by-pass in 2015, Jeff’s recovery process was long and difficult, bolstered by refocusing on the more artistic side of himself. He found his love of fine art again and has enjoyed honing his skills over the past six years. Despite having to relearn many things with his less dominant side, he now draws with his right hand and paints with his left. Jeff’s main challenge remains language retrieval (Aphasia).
