food we eat, and for other wildlife. Join Kate Parsons, Xerces Society 
Ambassador, as she explores the world of native bees, their life 
histories, threats, and simple actions you can take to help conserve 
them. 
We will also be hearing from Lee Shelley from Green Beverly about 
some local opportunities to learn about and support pollinator health 
with Beverly's Pollinator Pathway Map, pollinator demonstration gardens 
and Green Beverly's garden rebate.  
Extra opportunity: Green Beverly is offering a free review of your 
electric and gas bill.  Let Green Beverly try to help you lower your 
utility bills by bringing your bills to the event!

To create an inclusive, supportive, and collaborative space for writers of all genres, mediums, and experience levels to share work, develop craft, and build creative community.
Who It’s For
Open to all writers—fiction, non-fiction, poetry, memoir, journalism, screenwriting, playwriting, novelists, short story writers, and more. Whether you’re drafting your first paragraph or polishing your tenth book, you’re welcome.
Meeting Structure
<ul><li>Introductions (10–15 minutes)Members introduce themselves, their medium(s), and current projects or goals.</li><li>Focused Writing Time (20 - 25 minutes). Dedicated “heads-down” writing session.</li><li>Voluntary WIP Discussion (10–15 minutes)Members may share updates on works in progress, challenges, breakthroughs, or questions for the group. This is discussion-based unless pre-submitted work has been shared.</li><li>Wrap Up (10-15 minutes) Time at the end of the meeting for members to chat and get to know each other a little more. Provides members the opportunity to find: Beta reader sign-ups, Accountability partnerships, Co-writing opportunities, Local creative events, and resources</li></ul>

A live concert of American singing school music from 1700s to 2000s.
The Essex Harmony is a Danvers based, secular, mixed voice, chorus. Founded by the late Glenn Mairo in 2006, our repertoire has grown under Tom Carmody’s direction. Our original inspiration, the ‘Singing School’ period of Colonial America (1765 –1835), has been greatly expanded up to and including contemporary American composers. Our mission is to preserve American choral music with emphasis on the Colonial ‘Singing School’ period. Our musical selections are put into context in every performance with a brief narration.

Welcome back to Glen Magna Farms Back to Nature Plant Sale. This year will have an array of perennials field dug from the historic gardens of Glen Magna Farms. We will also be offering many low maintenance, New England native plants to make your home sustainable all while helping our declining butterfly and bird populations.
We also invite you to stroll the enchanted 11 acres of garden rooms of Glen Magna Farms before or after you shop. Let the winding paths and majestic trees inspire you to make your corner of the earth a little greener. Lastly, the garden crew will be participating in “No Mow May” for the 6th year in a row. Be sure to explore the outskirts of the property and our heirloom apple orchard to see all the colorful wildflowers. It’s always fun to count how many songbirds you can spot building their nests in the “No Mow May” areas. We look forward to meeting you!

This collective of North Shore original artists, songwriters, and producers came together in 2020 to honor the timeless catalog of the Grateful Dead with a fresh and innovative approach. Dead to the Core celebrates the Dead’s spirit with inspired playing, infused with unrestrained improvisations, and a real good time.
Dead To The Core is The Cut's 2026 Resident Band - they will play a show every month in 2026, culminating with a New Years Eve show on 12/31/26. Don't forget to bring your punch card and get a stamp for each show you attend. Collect them all (Feb-Nov) and get free tickets to the NYE show!
