Friday, Dec. 26

At 12:01 p.m., police responded to a Bridge Street building about smoke in the building. Police found some food was left cooking on a stove.

At 6:33 p.m., police reported receiving multiple 911 calls from a Beverly Commons Drive resident with no emergency to report. Police advised the woman to not make false 911 calls.

At 9 p.m., Beverly Police reported that the Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over patrol resulted in 11 motor vehicle stops. Police issued 10 verbal warnings and one citation.

Saturday, Dec. 27

At 12:29 p.m., police responded to River Street about a person being “aggressively pulled” by a dog. Police checked the area, but did not find any issues.

At 1:13 p.m., a Thoreau Circle resident reported an overnight vehicle break-in.

At 2:20 p.m., a Holly Lane resident reported a car break-in.

At 5:18 p.m., police responded to Elliott Street about an erratic driver. Police spoke to the driver, who was parked in a lot. She said she was trying to drive her vehicle while wiping the inside of her fogged windshield. Police suggested she wait for the windshield to be clear before driving her car.

At 10:35 p.m., police responded to Hathaway Avenue about two youths trying to enter parked cars. One youth was wearing a coat that said “Beverly” on it and the other was wearing a blue flannel shirt. They left the area when they were spotted.

Sunday, Dec. 28

At 5:44 a.m., police received a call about a past break-in at an Enon Street business.

At 8:06 a.m., a Pickman Road resident reported a larceny.
