Celebrate Centerville's Golden Anniversary
The Centerville Elementary School is holding an open house to celebrate 50 years this Saturday.

The Centerville Elementary School in Beverly is celebrating its 50th anniversary with an open house this Saturday.
The open house at the school on Saturday, November 21, from 10 a.m. to noon. The contents of a time capsule buried 25 years ago will be on display as well as student interviews with alumni and other projects students have been working on for the school anniversary.
The Centerville School is at 17 Hull Street.

Students and teachers have been celebrating the anniversary throughout the week.
- MONDAY: The Beverly Historical Society presented to the students.
- TUESDAY: Students wore their Centerville spirit-wear to school.
- WEDNESDAY: 50th day of school. Students should “dress their best” for the Centerville School feast (lunch).
- FRIDAY: Students can dress up like someone from 1965 and will witness the excavation of the time capsule buried 25 years ago.
