Cellmate Argument; Stolen Bike: Beverly Police

Tuesday, Feb. 2

At 5:15 p.m., there was a report of a possible assault by a homeless person on Essex Street. Police found two former cellmates outside a diner having an argument. They denied that anything got physical.

At 5:26 p.m., there was a motor vehicle accident on East Lothrop Street.

At 9:13 p.m., there was a report of suspicious activity involving an illegally parked car on Ocean Street.

At 9:51 p.m., a bike was reported stolen on Watch Hill Road.

Wednesday, Feb. 3

At 12:01 a.m., there was a report of people yelling on Rantoul Street.

At 12:45 a.m., there was a report of a person tapping on a window on Newbury Street.

At 10:13 a.m., there was a report of money possibly stolen from a business on Cherry Hill Drive.

At 2:15 p.m., there were several reports of shoplifting on Dodge Street.
