City Of Beverly: Nomination Papers For Fall Elections Available 4/5

Nomination papers for this fall's municipal elections will be available at the City Clerk's Office starting Monday, April 5. The positions up for election are Mayor, City Councilors (3 at-large seats, 6 ward seats), and School Committee members (6 ward seats). Any registered voter interested in running for municipal office should come to the City Clerk's Office to sign a written statement and pick up nomination papers. Nomination papers with signatures of registered Beverly voters should be returned for certification to the City Clerk's Office no later than 5:00pm on Tuesday, August 10. Ward positions require a minimum of 50 certified signatures, and citywide positions require a minimum of 100 certified signatures.
