Coastal Windows & Exteriors Team Dresses Up as the Wizard of Oz Crew to Promote Habitat for Humanity Project Involvement

Coastal Windows & Exteriors of Beverly, MA, brought the spirit of Halloween and The Wizard of Oz to Boo Bash at Northshore Mall to the delight of the children and parents this week. Authentically made up as The Wizard of Oz’s Dorothy, Tin Man, Scarecrow, Lion and members of the Lollypop Guild, the Coastal Windows & Exteriors team was there to hand out signature lollypops with Coastal Homeowner Tips to the trick-or-treaters while also educating parents about various ways to keep their homes warm through the coming winter.  Stephanie always includes a piece of education in all of her events as educating homeowners on exterior home improvements is her passion. 

The Wizard of Oz costume choice underscored Coastal Windows & Exteriors’ commitment to their work on the North Shore Habitat for Humanity home in Lynn that they have been helping to build over the past month. Coastal Windows & Exteriors teamed up with North Shore Habitat for Humanity - in coordination with Warner Bros. classic film, “The Wizard of Oz” – with the theme “There’s No Place Like Home” – to help build new homes for local families in need in nearby Lynn, MA.  In the spirit of the Magic of OZ, the company has donated the roof, siding, windows and doors that will turn this house into a home for local families and worked tirelessly to help raise the funds necessary to complete the home.

The annual Boo Bash event at Northshore Mall was attended by thousands of young goblins and their parents.  Coastal Windows & Exteriors Owner Stephanie Vanderbilt (aka Dorothy) said the Boo Bash event was the perfect forum to spread the word about their Habitat for Humanity involvement and other educational programs.  “Boo Bash was a festive and fun way for us to spread the great news coming out of North Shore Habitat for Humanity in a creative and engaging way,” said Vanderbilt.  “Letting people know about our commitment to education, the community and our various other passion projects in a festive manner that excited both children and parents alike really was such a fantastic way to celebrate Halloween!”
