Coronavirus: Beverly Public Library Programs, Events Canceled
The decision was made in an effort to minimize the spread of the coronavirus, library officials said Friday.

BEVERLY, MA—As a preventative measure to minimize the spread of coronavirus, all Beverly Public Library programs and events have been canceled until further notice, according to library officials.
The move comes after close discussions with city officials.
The library, however, will remain open at this time, they said.

"We will continue to update you as things change," library staff posted in a tweet Friday.
In consultation with city officials & as a preventative measure to minimize the spread of coronavirus, all Beverly Public Library programs & events are CANCELLED until further notice.
