Deadline to Register for Brimbal Vote is Saturday

If you're not a registered voter in Beverly, but want to vote in next month's special election to decide on the rezoning of land along Brimbal Avenue, you'll have to register on Saturday.

Existing active registered voters are all set. If you are not a registered voter in Beverly, you'll need to register by the 8 p.m. deadline on Saturday.

The City Clerk's office at Beverly City Hall will be open for special hours on Saturday Jan. 18 from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., according to City Clerk Kathy Connolly.

The Feb. 8 special election at Beverly High School will decide whether to keep the existing industrial overlay zoning in place or whether it should be overturned.
