Drunk Throwing Branches; Breaking and Entering Arrests: Beverly Police

Arrests

Jonathan M. Wood, 33, of 13 County Way in Beverly was arrested on a warrant.

Nicholas B. O’Neill, 21, of 39 Taylor Street in Haverhill was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor, a marked lanes violation, and leaving the scene of an accident with property damage.

St. Juste Sadin, 19, of 39 Jaques Street in Malden was arrested and charged with breaking and entering into a motor vehicle in the nighttime to commit a felony and receiving a stolen motor vehicle.

Michael R. Smith, 20, of 75 Harvard Street in Malden was arrested and charged with breaking and entering into a motor vehicle in the nighttime to commit a felony and receiving a stolen motor vehicle.

Friday, Feb. 5

At 4:29 p.m., there was a small fire in the wires on Colon Street.

At 5:10 p.m., a verbal warning was issued on Ober Street for a driver who failed to properly clean snow off his car.

At 5:36 p.m., there was a tree down on a parked motor vehicle on Brimbal Avenue.

At 7:17 p.m., there was a hit and run motor vehicle accident with property damage on Cabot Street.

Saturday, Feb. 6

At 12:45 p.m., a plow hit a wall on Upton Street.

At 8:39 p.m., there was an intoxicated man at Essex and Cole Streets who threw a large tree limb into the road as cars were approaching. As an officer got out of his cruiser, the man fled toward Essex Street.

At 10:06 p.m., a caller on Story Avenue complained about kids stomping on the floor of another apartment. Police found no basis for the call and stated she was being an unreasonable neighbor.

Sunday, Feb. 7

At 2:44 a.m., there was a report of breaking and entering to a motor vehicle on Chipman Road.
