Essex Cardiology Associates to Affiliate with Lahey Health, Change Name

Essex Cardiology Associates will Become Lahey Cardiology, Beverly

Essex Cardiology Associates has announced that it will become a practice of Lahey Health. As a result, the practice will change its name to Lahey Cardiology, Beverly.

“Our patients will continue to be able to receive care at Beverly Hospital, but now will have added access to Lahey Hospital & Medical Center cardiac specialists and services for complex cardiac needs closer to home,” says Francis X. Cleary, MD, FACC, a cardiologist with the practice. “Working closely with a respected tertiary hospital and maintaining our relationship with Beverly Hospital will allow us to provide even more integrated and coordinated care than we have been able to in the past.”

The practice is changing in name only. The physicians, staff, office location hours, and telephone and fax numbers will all remain the same.

For more than 30 years, Essex Cardiology Associates has provided high quality, state-of the-art cardiovascular services for families on the North Shore. These services include:

• Diagnosis and treatment of diseases affecting the heart and circulatory system
• Diagnostic testing such as echocardiography, nuclear imaging, exercise and non-exercise stress tests, and Holter monitoring
• Invasive cardiac testing and treatment including coronary angiography and permanent pacemakers

The new affiliation with Lahey Health will allow the center to expand its practice and serve growing numbers of patients more efficiently and effectively.
