
Acclaimed comedian, TV personality, speaker, author, international stress management and humor consultant Loretta LaRoche has sold out performances in major venues across the country. On Sunday, May 5th, she takes the stage at the North Shore Music Theater in Beverly to benefit the Northshore Education Consortium. The Northshore Education Consortium is the largest provider of educational services to students with special needs in the North of Boston region. The Friends of the Northshore Education Consortium are presenting the show.
The Friends of the Northshore Education Consortium will be hosting a Silent Auction from noon to 2 pm, prior to Ms. LaRoche’s show “Life is not a Stress Rehearsal.” Guests can bid on sports and celebrity items, Silpada silver jewelry, restaurant certificates, salon packages, a clambake, paintings by local artists Racket Shreve and Charlie Allen, autographed celebrity memorabilia and wine.
Tickets cost $50 for the inner circle, $40 for the upper circle. VIP tickets, which include a post-show private reception with Loretta LaRoche cost $100. Tickets can be purchased from the North Shore Music Theatre. Call (978) 232-7200 or order online at www.nsmt.org.

Past fundraising events hosted by the Friends of the Northshore Education Consortium have provided crucial funding for program enrichments, including iPads, SMART Boards, a new playground, therapeutic horseback riding, gardening and a greenhouse. The Northshore Education Consortium runs five specialized programs including the Kevin O’Grady School for students with severe special needs, the Recovery High School, the Northshore Academy for students with emotional and behavioral disabilities, the Embark, STEP and SOAR transitional programs for young adults, and the ACES consulting program.
The event has received $30,000 in sponsorships, including the Premier Sponsor Lincoln Investment, Corporate Benefit Plans and People’s United Bank.
