Beverly Car Crash Victim Identified

BEVERLY, MA – Authorities have identified Jeffrey Delorenzo, 28, of Beverly, as the man who died in a car crash on Tuesday night.

Delorenzo died after being thrown from his vehicle during a three-car crash Tuesday night in Beverly, police said. The crash remains under investigation by Beverly Police and the Massachusetts State Police reconstruction unit, according to the Essex County DA's office.

At approximately 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Beverly Police and Fire responded to the area of Essex Street and Meadow Road for a report of the crash. Police say two vehicles sustained heavy damage, and one of the vehicles had its driver thrown from it.

The man was transported to Beverly Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police are investigating the accident and did not release any more information.
