“The GAR Hall in Beverly, MA is a small building with a rich history and a promising future. Built in 1863, it has served the community as a chapel, a high school, an armory, veterans meeting space, a senior center, and more. It was moved to its present location in 1941. The Ward 2 Civic Association is working to transform the building back into the functional community space it once was, while preserving its historical and architectural integrity. Uses for a Bernzomatic torch would be repairing the outdoor staircase railing and upgrading all the plumbing. W2CA, along with the City of Beverly, hopes to provide our current community and future generations with the highest and best version of this Beverly heirloom..”

Three winners will be selected for the grant. To vote for Gar Hall as a Find your Fire winner click HERE.
