GODSPELL | Come Sing About Love!

Voices of Hope invites you to enjoy all the good gifts of the beloved musical hit, Godspell, which they will perform for one night only at the North Shore Music Theater on Saturday, May 2nd.

The audience will be treated to the 2011 revival of the show, with updated orchestration of the music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz featuring interesting variations and multi-layered harmonies of familiar numbers like Day by Day,Light of the World, and We Beseech Thee.

Loosely based on the life of Jesus, and interspersed with amusing parables adapted from the Gospel According to Matthew, the show is essentially about the formation of a community; something that resonates deeply with this group of local performers who are dedicated to raising funds for cancer research.

Proceeds from the performance will be donated to the Henri and Belinda Termeer Center for Targeted Therapies at the Mass General Cancer Center.
